What is the SF Love Dojo?
[vc_separator_2 color_line=”#494949″ separator_position=”left_sep” padding_bottom=”20″]SF Love Dojo aims to take back the word love from the purely romantic, and highlight its deeper significance, rooted in affection, nurturance and compassion, for self and other.
A dojo is a practice hall, typically for martial arts, but in this case, an inner practice space for love, compassion, kindness, community and belonging. The love dojo is where we generate an attitude of friendliness for our inner lives and friendliness for others as well, through the cultivation of mindfulness and compassion.
SF LoveDojo will offer classes in:
- Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC)
- Compassion Cultivation Training (CCT)
- Transcending the Suffering of Loneliness
Dr. Chandra is also available to speak on a variety of topics blending compassion, psychology and creative expression.

3/23/2022: SF LOVE DOJO IS BEING USED FOR A CREDIT CARD SCAM: For the last few months, I’ve received calls about scam credit card transactions noting this website address and my phone number. These are illegitimate. Please call your credit card company and void these transactions. I have no further information about these charges, and I have not received any money from them, of course.
